HR Support Officer
£23,194 – £24,496 per annum, pro rata (Actual Salary £9,277 – £9,798 per annum) I Permanent I Part time (14.8 hours per week, working Thursday and Friday)
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent administration skills and an interest in HR to join our small and friendly HR team.
The main focus of the role is completing a wide range of HR administrative tasks, including recruitment, organising training and wellbeing activities, and assisting with the provision of general HR advice across the organisation.
If you have proven administrative skills and a CIPD Level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience, then this could be the role for you!

Deputy Harbour Master
£23,194 – £24,496 per annum pro rata (Actual Salary £12,537- £13,241 per annum) | Part Time | 20 hours | Permanent
The successful candidate will support the Harbour Master in discharging statutory duties of Harbour Master for the Port of Bideford, keeping the port compliant with the Port Marine Safety Code, the requirements of the Port Facility Security Code and other relevant regulations and legislation including the maintenance of an up to up to date and approved Oil Spill Plan.
Acting as the authorised deputy of the Harbour Master with the associated delegated powers and authority and as the Deputy Port Marine Facilities Security Office.
They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, dealing with customers in the Harbour Office on a day to day basis. The individual must also be able to demonstrate experience of working within the harbour environment.

Civil Enforcement Officer
Permanent | Full time | £21,575 – £22,777 per annum (pay award pending) (plus regular overtime)
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Council’s Parking Services Team. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for carrying out frontline inspection and enforcement duties covering off street parking operations, whilst maintaining a positive relationship with the local community.
This would suit someone who enjoys being out doors, acting on your own initiative, based across the Torridge district, ensuring no two days are the same, helping members of the public with a variety of enquiries.
You will work on a rota basis for weekends and bank holidays as paid overtime, with occasional evening working during the busy summer periods.
A full clean driving licence and a DBS check will be required.
Previous experience in parking, traffic management or enforcement would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

ICT Support Analyst
£23,194 – £26,845 per annum (dependent on qualifications) | 37 hours per week – due to the nature of this work some out of hours and weekend working will be required | Permanent
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our ICT Service Delivery Team to provide technical support remotely and in person to both onsite and offsite staff and Councillors.
Problem solving and diagnosing issues to reach solutions are part of the daily work, supported by your colleagues. A desire to learn and be involved with the deployment of new technologies is essential as we are constantly rolling out new systems and solutions.
The successful applicant will focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and the delivery of high performing, reliable, responsive, and resilient IT and Telephony services.
