Holsworthy Motor Club event Sunday 18th September 2022

The Holsworthy Motor Club will be holding their “Roger Pole Taw and Torridge” classic reliability trial on Sunday 18th September this year. About 40 motorcycles and 40 cars will be taking part in the event. They will be starting at the rear car park of the Clovelly Visitors Centre and finishing at Stibb Cross.

The route plan will be as follows: the first vehicles will arrive in the Great Torrington area from the direction of Little Torrington at about 11.30 hrs. They will come down the A386 to Town Mills where they will turn right onto the B3220 and continue for just over 2 miles. They will turn left and in a mile left again to take them up to Kingscott. They again turn left and follow the road to get to Week Farm. When they have competed on hills at Week Farm, vehicles will turn left and go through the town to the Commons Car Park arriving at about 12.30hrs.

After a one hour compulsory rest, competitors will turn right out of the car park and continue in the Monkleigh direction.
