The Battle of Torrington commemorative march – 12th February 2022

The Battle of Torrington march was held on the evening of 12th February 2022 and was well attended in spite of the poor weather. It is important to commemorate this significant event in the towns history which occurred throughout the streets of Great Torrington on the night of 16th February 1646 and effectively ended the civil war in the south west.
