Yellow Lines around Swimming Pool car park area

Some of you may have notice that yellow lines have been painted around the swimming pool car park area.

Torridge District Council had the lines put in because they had issued a few Penalty Charge Notices to people parking there (in the car park people must be users of the pool and park within a designated bay so as not cause obstruction, as per the Off Street Parking Places Order). There had been complaints that it was not obvious that they weren’t allowed to park there.  Torridge District Council hope that it is now more obvious that people shouldn’t park there.

Torridge District Council is  speaking with the contractor about the quality of the line work.
