Fly Tipping

The recent fly tipping report was passed to Torridge District Council’s Neighbourhood Officer who subsequently visited the scene.  The officer has reported that he did some litter picking on both sides of the road and cleared more waste as he was concerned that it could be detrimental to lambs and wildlife in the fields.  The officer took 3 bags back to Torrington and conducted a finger search. Unfortunately there was no evidence that could secure an interview under caution on this occasion.

If anyone has any information on this case, or knows of any other fly tipping perpetrators, please report it through the  Torridge District Council website – via the  Environmental Protection report it link. A Neighbourhood Officer will then be allocated to the case.
